At Miyagi’s first annual Holiday Open House, you can enjoy a glass of wine while being treated to an aromatic sensory journey and a mini-massage. Update your own holiday look with a complimentary visit to Aveda guest makeup artist Bess Kandle. (Appointments recommended for Bess.) And of course, you may browse Aveda’s collection of exquisitely boxed (and reasonably priced) gift sets. Gift certificates are available in any amount, and we’ll even help you design a wish list for yourself, to present to the Santa in your life! It’s holiday shopping free of stress.
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 4, 7 PM TO 10 PM: PROGRESSIVE TRAVELING TRUNK SHOW FEATURING RUBY3 AND CALPURNIA PEACH. Not done shopping yet? Join us on Thursday December 4 and check out the very cool cocktail hats, arm warmers, tights, and other winter accessories presented by local designers Ruby3 and Calpurnia Peach. Miyagi will host a happy hour shopping event featuring these two heroines of local fashion; also featured, some gorgeous images from local photographer Jayme Halbritter. You can have your hair styled by talented Team Miyagi stylists after you shop, then at 10 pm the entire party will move 1 block over to the Red Stag Supper Club, where we’ll enjoy our holiday cheer in high style.

Team Miyagi would like to introduce our newest member, Jack Hysell. Fresh from Sioux City, Iowa, Jack brings 5 years of experience with him to Minneapolis. And since most of his loyal clientele was
unable to follow him, he is looking for new people to make beautiful. Jack works Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and in the month of November you will receive 50% off your first haircut or color with Jack just for mentioning that you saw this post.
